The Coastal Voyager is the new experience from Sail Southwold, built to our design in New Zealand this 9 metre rigid inflatable with its deep V hull is equipped with wrap-round seats, seat belts, and lifejackets for 12 people. We operate a full schedule of trips. Powered by two 200hp Mercury Optimax (low emission-high efficiency) outboards she gives a smooth, comfortable and safe ride in most reasonable conditions. Coastal Voyager has the flexibilty to fulfill a variety of roles. From short, high speed, fun trips around Sole Bay when the powerful engines can give an exhilerating ride to remember, to longer full day trips perhaps as far as Scroby Sands to see the seals or down past Orfordness and into the River Alde for a trip to Orford. |

River Blyth Cruise |
||
The peace and tranquillity on the river Blyth is a complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of every day life. You could quite literally be going back in time when you venture up the Blyth Estuary which is steeped in history. The area is protected by English Nature and has many important birds and insects. We regularly see marsh harriers, herons, a wide variety of gulls including med gulls and little gulls. We have also seen osprey and many types of wading birds both resident and migratory. Visit the White Hart for a meal on our lunch or evening cruise, the moonlit evening cruises are quite breathtaking. Adult £22, Child £11. |
