Southwold offers a wide selection of classy shops, selling a variety of items including art, cards, jewellery, pottery, cheese, fudges and many other locally produced items. Most of the shops are concentrated in the towns High Street and shop-a-holics will love taking a few hours wandering its length exploring the stylish shops. On Mondays and Thursdays, a market is held in the compact market place, which dates back to the 15th century. But your shopping experience is not limited to the High Street, you should also head for the Pier, where you will find a nautical themed gift shop and the streets off the High Street include the new Adnams Kitchen and Cellar Store, selling not just Adnams beers, but also other fascinating items for your cellar and kitchen. |
